By using the Stillune app you agree to the terms below. Please read them carefully — especially the medical disclaimer in section 2.

1. Service ownership

The Stillune app is developed and operated by OzTech App Studio (Istanbul, Türkiye). It is distributed through the Apple App Store.

2. Not a medical treatment

Stillune is an education and relaxation companion for tinnitus habituation. It is not a medical treatment, a diagnosis, or hearing care of any kind, and it does not replace a doctor, audiologist, or hearing-care professional. Nothing in the app — including lessons, soundscapes, journal summaries, and weekly insights — is medical advice.

Tinnitus can have underlying medical causes. Please see a doctor or audiologist about your tinnitus, and do so promptly if your ringing is sudden, one-sided, or accompanied by other symptoms.

3. What the app does — honestly

• Spike SOS is a 3-minute guided calm ritual for tinnitus spikes: a paced-breathing ring, a pitch-matched night soundscape, and a grounding voice. It is a relaxation tool, not a cure — the first session is free.
• The 8-week program is a 56-lesson, CBT-informed habituation education curriculum (~10 minutes a day) about attention skills, sleep routines, and honest expectations. Habituation takes time and results vary from person to person; we make no promise that your tinnitus will get quieter or disappear.
• The spike journal and weekly insights summarise the patterns in what you log. They are personal observations, not clinical measurements, and should not be used for medical evaluation.

4. Listening safety

Stillune's soundscapes are volume-capped by design, and a gentler audio mode (for sound sensitivity) makes every sound start lower and rise more slowly. Even so, you are responsible for choosing safe listening volumes and durations on your device. If any sound feels uncomfortable, lower the volume or stop the session.

5. Account and data

Stillune does not ask for an email address or a password; the app signs you in anonymously. Your spike journal entries, notes, pitch profile, and scores are stored on your device, and you can export or delete everything — including full deletion of your backend account — from inside the app. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

6. Subscription terms (Stillune Premium)

• Plans. Stillune Premium is offered as an annual plan (1 year, auto-renewable, with a 7-day free trial) and a weekly plan (1 week, auto-renewable, no trial). Current pricing is always shown in the app and on the App Store before you purchase.
• Free trial. The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the paid subscription starts automatically.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions auto-renew; unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, you will be charged for the same period each cycle through your Apple ID.
• Cancellation. You can cancel anytime via App Store → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds. Refund requests are subject to Apple's refund policy. Submit requests at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Pricing changes. If subscription pricing changes, we'll notify you before renewal as required by the App Store. Cancelling the subscription is enough to decline the new price.
• Free tier. The first Spike SOS session is free, and the free tier remains available for as long as you wish to use it.

7. Notifications

Stillune's reminders are optional local notifications, scheduled on your device. You can enable, adjust, or turn them off at any time in the app or in iOS Settings.

8. Intellectual property

The Stillune app, its lesson texts, soundscape designs, icon designs, and the "Stillune" trademark are owned by OzTech App Studio. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes; copying, distributing, or commercially exploiting app content is prohibited.

9. Disclaimer of warranty

The app is provided "as is." We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will produce any particular outcome for your tinnitus. Within legal limits, our liability for errors, interruptions, or data loss is limited.

10. Unacceptable use

• Reverse-engineering or attempting to bypass the app's protections
• Embedding the app or its content in another product
• Using the app for harassment or illegal purposes

11. Suspension of access

If we detect use that violates the terms above, we reserve the right to temporarily or permanently suspend your access to the app. In such cases, your existing subscription fee may not be refunded.

12. Governing law

Disputes related to these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye and resolved in the courts of Istanbul.

13. Updates

When the terms are materially changed, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be refreshed and an in-app notification will appear at the next launch.
